Festivals are meant to be colorful, grand and fun. And Taytay, Rizal’s very own HAMAKA Festival is exactly just like that. Observed every second week of February, HAMAKA Festival is a week-long celebration of thanksgiving, taking pride in the inbred talent of the Taytayenos in dressmaking and woodcrafts. The tradition has been traced to be observed decades and decades back but no one really knows when it exactly started.
Ever Bilena has been with the Filipinos for three decades now, besprinkling beauty dust to every lady in the archipelago, and it definitely wouldn’t miss a celebration like this for the world. Lead by its stunning brand ambassador, Daiana Menezes and the company’s frontrunner, Mr. Dioceldo S. Sy, Ever Bilena partook in this, indeed, one-of-a-kind festival.
The revelry started with Daiana’s autograph signing at SM Taytay, regaling and inviting all the Taytayenos to attend the grand celebration at Club Manila East, the heart of taytay, Rizal. Hundreds lined up for the autograph signing, raving how much they love Ever Bilena as a brand and Daiana Menezes as well-loved endorser. Right after the mall event, Ever Bilena team joined the thousands of Taytayenos for the much anticipated Float Parade.
Attended by groups from different society sectors, the parade was filled with the colors of the rainbow reminding everyone of the rich history and culture of Taytay, Rizal. Adding up to the glitz and glam of the celebration is the radiant glow of Ever Bilena’s lovely endorser, Daiana Menezes. Confident of how beautiful she looks even under the scorching heat of the sun, Daiana wowed the people with her eye-catching looks and glowing skin.
Aside from the Float Parade, there were also street dance competition, trade exhibits, sports fest and of course, a local beauty pageant to cap off the festival. The Taytayeno’s gift of creativity is really incomparable and definitely worth a week-long celebration. Ever Bilena Cosmetics Inc. is sincerely grateful for the opportunity to dance along the drumbeat of this province’s pride event. ‘Till the next HAMAKA!
